MINISTRY oF HEALTH WATERSCAPE

The waterscape of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, was carried out in the late 2009, right before the Christmas. The waterscape is designed by Sinam Cconsultancy, as an integral part of the main gate of the ministry. The design is minimal, and very simple in construct. The bubbly low fountains, makes the waterscape approachable, and gives the vistor a moment of rest in front of a hectic building. The design reminds all of the Fin Garden watersdcapes in Kashan, Iran.

 

The civil work of the waterscape is carried out by Taban Shahr Construction Co. While Favaran has designed and built the mechanical system, including the pump house, and the lighting of the fountains.The lights are from Mahtab Noor.

 

The pump house contains 4 pumps. Two of the pumps in turn run the waterfal, while one of them is always standing by. The fountains in the lower pool are run by a 4 HP pump and the fountain in the upper pool is run by a 1 HP pump. The mechanical equipments also include an Astral sand filter from Tehran Swimming Pool. Piping work is a mixture of welded and tapped work. The welded part have all been galvanized to guarantee a clear water in the long term.
